Do you know that traffic commissioners hold thousands of driver conduct hearings every year?
In 2018/19, there were 3112.
The majority of drivers won’t ever experience a conduct hearing but it’s important to see how the process works. And also reassuring to know there are consequences for drivers who do not keep to the same standards as everyone else.
Now you can watch an example driver conduct hearing and share it with your staff. It was filmed by Transport for London using actors but is set in one of the rooms used for public inquiries and driver conduct hearings.
The Traffic Commissioner in the video is actually one of the current commissioners, Nick Denton.
