*** Exciting New Training Programme Opportunity ***
We are looking for two young people locally to undertake our Transport Manager CPC course in Road Haulage and pass the examinations (FREE OF CHARGE)
Why do we want to do this?
As a training provider that has offered training services to the haulage & logistics industry both locally and nationally for the past 10 years, we can see that there is an age skills gap in the market and we want to inspire young people to get involved in the industry.
What is it that we are offering?
We are offering two young people the chance to train with us at our offices based in Whaplode one day a week, over a 21 week period, to gain the Transport Manager CPC qualification in road haulage.
What is our application criteria?
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 & 20 years old.
Candidates must have computer & internet skills.
Candidates must have a good understanding of Maths & English.
Candidates must be able to dedicate a minimum of 1 day per week to undertake training.
Candidates will need to send us an email giving reasons why they would like to undertake this free training programme.
Candidates would need to give their consent from the start of this process and throughout to have their progress filmed, and for us to publish their progress on our social media channels.
How will the process work?
Step 1. Candidates will be asked to email us explaining why they would like to take part in this free of charge training programme.
Step 2. Successful candidates from step 1 will receive an email requesting a short video clip giving us a little bit more information about themselves.
Step 3. Successful candidates from step 2 will be invited to meet our friendly team for a more in-depth chat.
Step 4. Successful candidates from step 3 will be called back for a chat with our team and they will be given more insight into what the training programme entails.
Step 5. After step 4 our team will then choose two candidates to enrol onto our new training programme.
When will the process start?
We will be accepting emails from candidates from the 21st October 2019, and the closing date will be the 4th November 2019.
The selection process will continue until we choose the two candidates who will commence training on Monday 13th January 2020.
If you would like to take part in this new training programme, all you need to do is send us your reasons why via email. Please send your email to customerservice@ntpservices.co.uk using the subject line: “Exciting New Training Programme Opportunity”
We are also looking to attract assistance from local haulage and logistics companies to help with the final stage of the process. Once these candidates have passed their Transport Manager CPC exams, we will be looking to help get them into work to gain vital experience within a working traffic office where they can put their training to good use. If you would like to register your interest in offering a position to a young person within your traffic office, please get in contact with us on 01406 424500.
