Transport Manager CPC Refresher – Online vs Classroom training, which is best for you?

In 2010 an EU directive was brought in with a recommendation that all CPC holders attend annual refreshers to ensure they were adhering to legislation surrounding the road freight operations.

The aim of the directive was to refresh some of the principal CPC subject areas, which is the key to running an effective freight operation.

The refresher courses aim to cover they key areas such as Operator licencing, EU driver's hours, Working time directive, Driver licencing (Categories, Drivers CPC etc.), Vehicle Taxation, Corporate manslaughter, Duty of care, Health & Safety, Analogue and digital tachographs, Road traffic management and enforcement, Vehicle roadworthiness, Vehicle weights, Loads and Loading and update CPC holders with the latest legislation.

The recommendation has been a huge success with thousands of CPC holders taking annual refreshers through classroom based training however, this way can be inconvenient for CPC holders who are forced to take time out of their working week.
